Mark Moon
Mark Moon is Executive Vice President, Sales and Field Operations, for Motorola Solutions. In this capacity, he is responsible for all go-to-market and customer-facing activities for the company, including sales, channel management, systems engineering, business operations, systems integration and services. Mr. Moon's organization includes over 6,000 employees located in more than 65 countries. Since joining Motorola in 1985 as a project manager in Atlanta, Georgia, Mr. Moon has held many leadership positions in sales, engineering, product management and general management. He served as the director of technology for Motorola's role as the telecommunications provider for the 1996 Olympics. He was a key member of the team that created, organized and established Motorola's Systems Integration business, a critical part of the company's worldwide systems and solutions portfolio that now generates annual revenues of more than $2 billion. And he recently created a new business focused on Advanced and Professional Services, which will increase the company's solutions capability and be a growth driver for Motorola Solutions in the future. Mr. Moon is Chairman of the Board of Directors for Vertex Standard, a Motorola joint venture headquartered in Tokyo. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation, which was created by the United States Congress to lead a nationwide effort to honor America's firefighters and provide support and assistance to their families. Mr. Moon holds a bachelor's degree in industrial and systems engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
